Still Broken

My computer is still broken...because I'm too busy to get to it. Sigh!
Things are good with us and I have so many posts to do when I get my computer up and working. I hope everyone is having a great fall.

Using Mom's Computer

I am using my Mom's computer at her house to try to catch up on the blog. If I get too far behind I'll never catch up. I have posted several new posts. I hope you enjoy.

Why don't my kids listen to me & A New Relationship

Happiness
Pink Dog and our dog Cody has always been at odds. I have the funniest photo of both of them on my lap right after PD and I got home from China. Both of them are completely ignoring each other and physically faced in opposite directions. This is the relationship that they have maintained until about 6 months ago when PD decided that she wanted him to be her dog. We have really been working on trying to get them to interact. It has been long and sometimes tearful. But, look at this photo. What an accomplishment from both of them.

I told the girls to put on some shorts and a t-shirt this morning. We were going to take the dog to the vet to get his shots. This is what I got. This is how we went to the vet. Why don't they listen to me...ever?

Water Fountain

My goodness how she has grown since her first trip to the fountain. I'll have to dig up that photo for a comparison for sure.

Baywatch comes to mind

Too much fun.

Controlling the water flow

Sassyness, pure sassyness

Again, Baywatch

Pool Party

Ha Ha Ha...How funny.
Pink Dog and Cinderella were invited to a birthday pool party of one of their friends. It was so much fun. Both girls LOVED swimming in the pool.

Best Friends having a chat

Cinderella knows how to entertain herself in the shallow end.

Silly Friends

This was her mermaid pose...love it!

Just snorkeling

The giant claw. Boy toys are so very interesting to my girls.

The perfect size pool for a party

We had a great time and hope to be invited back again.

Pink Dogs Recital

The photo quality is bad, but here's the best of the rehearsal photos

Nana, Papa and Cinderella waiting for the show to start

I know this is blurry, but isn't my girl just breathtaking...

My Goddaughter and Godson and my Star

After the show, Pink Dog was awarded lots of flowers and prizes

Pink Dog did a fabulous job in her dance recital. This is her fourth year dancing and by far the best performance ever. She really grew so much this year. It helped that her God sister was teaching her class. Pink Dog adores her and really looks up to her. I am so proud of my girl. She is rather shy and doesn't care to take too many chances, but tonight she shined!

VBS

My girls praising our Lord!
Vacation Bible School concluded with a show for the families. It was a wonderful ending to a fun week for the girls. I am in awe that my girls learned so many songs and signs in just one week.
Singing so sweetly
Cinderella really belts it out.
Dancing to the groove
Shouting for joy
Praising, praising, praising
My Angel Girl
Here Jesus is her best friend

Here they wake up in the morning and say Jumbo, Jumbo to the Lord.
(Jumbo is Swahili for Hello)

Water Fun, the 2nd party

This is the second party of the day for Cinderella. She LOVED climbing up and sliding down. These are some of the children that she knows from daycare.

Up she goes...

Then down...

The reward; the pool at the bottom.
