Cinderella's Puppet Show

Not to be outdone by her sisters tooth, Cinderella decided to get some attention by putting on a puppet show right after her sister lost her tooth. My children are typical first and second children in their personalities. Cinderella is very easy going and funny. She took her pick from her dinner and stuck a gummy bear on it and then grabbed her half eaten roll, (whom she named the Brain) and proceeded to perform a puppet show. She cracks me up!

Another Baby Tooth Gone

Pink Dog is growing up far too fast for her Mommy. When they loose their baby teeth, they loose the look of a baby in my opinion. Tonight at a restaurant, she lost yet another tooth. It is so exciting for her and rather melancholy for me. Another sign that my baby is growing up.

Dr. Seuss

This week was Dr. Seuss week at Cinderella's school. They did all kinds of fun activities. I noticed in the hallway of the preschool that her drawing was on view. I think it is pretty amazing since she is only 4 1/2 years old. I may need to invest in art classes!

Swimming Lessons!

The girls started swimming lessons yesterday. Wow, did they love it! Pink Dog had lessons when she was 4 but she really didn't like them. Since then she has gone with my Mom and practiced with her. I was amazed at how well she did. She wasn't that scared little baby in the water any more. She was confident and happy...this is huge! Cinderella enjoyed her first adventure in swimming too. She is much more confident in general and likes taking chances. She did everything that the instructor told her to do without hesitation. I'm so proud of my babies!

After all the excitement in the morning with the snow we were rather tired, but we had theatre tickets to see Fantasy Playhouse, (a children's theatre), at 5:00. We watched "Monster in the closet". It was cute but not the best in my opinion. Pink Dog and Cinderella liked it quite a bit. I used to have season tickets every year to the Broadway Theatre League shows, but since becoming a mommy to two, I now have season tickets to Fantasy Playhouse. It is quite different, but I love that my girls are getting exposed to the theatre. I try to expose them to as many of the arts as possible. Their worlds just keep getting bigger. I'm adding some photos of them getting autographs. Collecting the characters signatures has become a necessary part to their theatre experience. For days afterward we read all the the autographs and talk about the show.
