Cinderella The Play

With the Godmother

The girls and I went to another local high school play. The show was more like the type that we did in High School, but the girls loved it. Since it was a Catholic High School, there was a Godmother not a fairy godmother.

The Princess and the Pea

The Prince
Ah Theatre, what a lovely way to spend an evening. Sunday was again our chance to engulf ourselves in a little culture. It was the last show and a terrific one to end the season. We look forward to the next time we will again loose ourselves in the performances.

Uncle Cha and his girls

The Stinky Princess

The Asian Princess

The Troll
We loved this guy. He made the show.
Pink Dog is getting her autograph.

Cinderella practices patience as she waits for her turn.

The Snow Princess

THE Princess

The Far Eastern Princess

Cinderella gets the Trolls autograph too.

They have learned how to take the "stance."

The King and Queen, how royal.
As Cinderella would say, Good Times, Good Times!

Theatre Again!

We are very fortunate to live in a City that has lots of talent. This afternoon we went to a local High School Theatre production of Footloose. These talented young people make me smile.
Here the girls are getting the directors autograph.

This is the lead male, who by the way was quite wonderful!

This is my precious Goddaughter. She is a senior now and will be heading off to Auburn in the fall. I can't believe how fast time goes. I remember taking her to the Civic Center to see Beauty and the Beast when she was about 3. Isn't she beautiful!

Here is Pink Dog waiting for the show to begin.

Here is the infamous Aunt B...the one with whom Mommy shared the potty and the Mom to my beautiful Goddaughter.

My three girls with the director.

This guy was fabulous!!!

This young, talented lady played the female lead. The girls just loved her.

Just look at these beauties...I am so blessed!
Uncle Cha has the girls tonight. He is taking them to the Ladies Roller Derby match. What! I know, kinda strange, but my girls are becoming quite worldly. I'm just happy that they are getting the chance to experience so many different things in their lives.

After all the excitement in the morning with the snow we were rather tired, but we had theatre tickets to see Fantasy Playhouse, (a children's theatre), at 5:00. We watched "Monster in the closet". It was cute but not the best in my opinion. Pink Dog and Cinderella liked it quite a bit. I used to have season tickets every year to the Broadway Theatre League shows, but since becoming a mommy to two, I now have season tickets to Fantasy Playhouse. It is quite different, but I love that my girls are getting exposed to the theatre. I try to expose them to as many of the arts as possible. Their worlds just keep getting bigger. I'm adding some photos of them getting autographs. Collecting the characters signatures has become a necessary part to their theatre experience. For days afterward we read all the the autographs and talk about the show.
