The Rabbit Hole

First you must dig the hole...he uses a pick or shovel now instead of the "big spoon".
I love this about my Dad. When he was a child, his Mother would tell him the day before Easter, "Charles Harry, you better go get the big spoon and dig you a rabbit hole so that that Rabbit will leave you some eggs". My Dad said he would dig a fine hole and then decorate it with grasses and all the beautiful flowers that he could find. He just knew that if he made it really pretty and decorative, that the Easter Bunny would leave him some treats. He always got really pretty boiled brown eggs and a chocolate rabbit. Since he is now 75 years young I love that he is carrying on the tradition with my girls.

Next, you get grass and fill the hole

Here the girls are adding their grass

Then you must find other grasses and flowers to decorate the hole

Working hard

Now for the decoration

This is Pink Dogs'...she goes for the more eclectic look

Cinderella follows her mother's retentive ways and makes hers just perfect

Once the decorating is done you must put a bucket over the hole to keep the animals away from it

Then they got goofy.
I just love traditions!

We saw him at Wally World

I think she likes him

Too Cute!

Cinderella and I went to Wally World to get supplies and guess who was there. Yep, the bunny. Cinderella at first said it was him and then she decided that it wasn't him. It was just a helper. Because you see, the Easter Bunny is way too busy today filling baskets to be at W-M. True I suppose. Anyway, it was neat to get her photo with him.

FCC Easter Egg Hunt

She is so beautiful

This is what they ended up with, once the candy was removed

Girls, are we going up or coming down?

Pink Dogs find

Group...love all the expressions
Another

Beautiful Cinderella

Typical Family Shot

This is so typical. Cha Cha looks like he has crazy eyes or that he is goosing Pink Dog. Pink Dog is posing like a rock star, and Cinderella is trying her best to be just like sister. But, my favorite part of this photo is our beloved dog in the background...hahahaha

Playdate with "D"

Neighborhood friends are great! There is a little boy that lives very close to us that the girls just adore. He came home from Kaz a couple of years ago. Although he is less than 3 months younger than pink dog, he is almost as small as Cinderella. Both of my girls love him. Both vie for his attention and he just loves it. It is nice to have him in our lives.

Pink dog skating in shoes 3 sizes too small and Cinderella sporting her purple fancy shoes.

Ring around the rosie

Silly children. Yes, "D" is sporting Pink Dogs leather boots!
