Cinderella's Art Show and Pancake Breakfast
Cinderella's Art Show and Pancake breakfast at her preschool was a huge success. She was in heaven with her friends and her family there. It was truly glorious seeing her so happy. Nothing is insignificant to a child. Everything is important and it means the world to them. I thank my parents for taking the time to come and make this such a special memory for my girl. Cinderella really is a social butterfly. We visited so many of her friends that were there this morning and got pictures with them. She just beamed in everyone. I only loaded the one picture of her with her friends, but it is a very special one. C, the little boy in the picture happens to be her boyfriend. They have been boyfriend and girlfriend for almost two years now. Not long ago Cinderella told me that she broke up with him - ha! But, as you can see it is an amicable split!

Ah Saturdays...
The girls and I went to see Monsters verses Aliens. It was a really good, wholesome, 3-d movie. Afterwards we walked around the outdoor mall where the movie theatre was and took in the sites. First we visited the water fountains...what is it with children and water? The wind was blowing really hard and I got some funny pictures of the girls. Next, we decided to go ride the carousel. Of course, it wasn't running, but they did have bouncy houses! Again, what is it about children and bouncy houses? Big, huge germ pits is what I see, but not them. They bounced until they were red-faced and really enjoyed themselves. Next we went to listen to the entertained being performed by some guy I don't know, but he was very good. He sang Christian songs and I loved that. On the way back to the car we walked along the waterfront and enjoyed the serenity. All and all, not a bad way to spend a day.

The Wonders of Childhood
As soon as we arrived home from work/school today the girls ran to get dandelions. They love making a wish and blowing them. I remember doing that as a child. It is a cherished memory for sure.
Once they finished with that, they decided that they should have the tulips that WERE growing in the front yard. It really is the little things that make them the happiest.

Silly Girls
My girls are very funny sometimes. They seem to have a love/hate relationship with each other. They are either syrupy sweet to each other, or in battle. This morning, they got along. I told them some time ago about Aunt B and I being best friends since we were one and some of the shenanigans we did as children. This morning they reenacted one of there favorite stories about their Mom and their Aunt. My best friend B and I shared everything as children...chicken pox, hairdo's, and yes, the potty. Actually, we have remained friends all these MANY years. Her children are my God children and my children are hers. Our families are very close.

Ladies and Gentlemen...Sarah Palin and Pizza
Pink Dog got new glasses and she looks fabulous! She picked them out herself and she is very proud of them. The inside is baby blue and the outside is black. She totally rocks in them!
The girls Uncle Cha brought them to the St. Patty's Day parade downtown on Tuesday. He is a great Uncle that spoils them terribly. I'm glad he does! After the parade we went and picked up PD new glasses. Then we went to swimming class. PD floated on her back from one end of the pool to the other. It is quite a distance and I am proud of her. Cinderella decided that it was NOT something that she needed to do. After that we invited Papa to join us for dinner at our favorite pizza place. The girls were exhausted by the time we got home, but they had fun.

Thank God!
I just got the news that all is okay with my baby's tummy. Praise God! Thank you to everyone for the prayers. I will still investigate her stomach issues with most likely allergy testing and behavior modification...both hers and mine - ha!
So grateful on this day.
